In April, 2002, Marvin Tate's D-Settlement had a couple/three parties to celebrate the release of their new CD American Icons. First, there was a gig at the Chopin Theater (fitting as this is a VERY theatrical group). A few days later there was another gig at Subterannean with dancing by the Read My Hips Tribal Bellydancing Troupe. I couldn't imagine a better way to spend my entertainment dollar.
