Here are pointers to some resources. It is up to you to determine their value to you.

The Monster Board- A swell job search site with scrollable categories and electronic resume service.

Switchboard- Find the telephone number or address for most of the businesses and people you are looking for.

HotBot- Hands down favorite search. It's fast, thorough and accurate.

MapQuest- Interactive... i.e., will draw maps to various zoom levels of any address you specify. I believe they will even look up the address from a name if you don't have it. Not to mention door-to-door driving directions.

Golfcourse.com- Search 'em all.

Mother Jones E-zine. I haven't visited, but I'm sure a hippy or two will be happy to find this link.

The New York Times- All the data fit to transmit.

EFF Action Alerts- Important messages from the Electronic Frontier Foundation.

International Home Workers Association- One of you entrepreneurial types check this out for me and let me know if it is of any value.

Health Gate- When I found it they were running a free medical info line.

The Merck Manual- This is a link to the Merck homepage. Start here and then look for a link to their invaluable collection of medical information manuals (publications).

The Internet Traffic Report monitors the flow of data around the world. It then displays a value between zero and 100. Higher values indicate faster and more reliable connections.
